The Data Analytics team focuses on the data mining of an extensive database and creates predictive models to increase profitability within the organisation. The Risk Department's central focus is to manage and analyse credit risk on new and existing loan portfolios. The Business Optimisation Department ensures that the Loan Operations Contact Centre's processes, technologies, operational strategies and initiatives, support a customer intimate environment. This ensures that production targets and efficiency levels can be met successfully. As a graduate placed in this Department, you will be exposed to the "coal face" of the DirectAxis business, where Customers are serviced, applications processed and loans paid out. Intraday Reporting, Workforce and Performance Management, Process Analysis and Data Analytics are just some of the tools we use every day to make sure our customers, and shareholders, are kept happy.
The Fee Income division is responsible for cross-selling insurance products to the loans database and via independent campaigns. The division sells both short term and long term insurance products and is a registered Financial Services Provider. Fee Income also manages a range of Joint Ventures with selected underwriters. A graduate placed in this area will gain full exposure to the workings of the Insurance Industry.
This business unit is responsible for co-ordinating and implementing all strategic projects across DirectAxis. The EPO is the custodian of a programmatic approach that enables management to keep track of progress made in the various projects. Furthermore, the office allocates project managers where required and ensures appropriate governance structures. A graduate placed in this area will gain experience in all facets of Project Management.
