Our aim is to develop young, inexperienced talent and place them into key positions in our working environment. We hire graduates in the following specialist fields – Analytics, IT, Legal, Risk and Finance.
People who are forward thinking and want to grow and gain experience are the most successful. This program is an important source of leadership talent and some of our most senior leaders started at DirectAxis as graduates.
During the first 12 weeks, graduates move around key business areas, and observe and complete assessments. They are exposed to our business in different ways so that they have a general understanding of how we operate.
Various exposure mechanisms include:
- Facilitated workshops
- Self-directed learning
- Coaching groups
- Business assignments/Project Line Support --Internal coaching from business leaders
- Exposure to business leaders
For the remainder of their time with us, a personalised developmental plan is designed and they are closely supervised with guidance from their line manager. This ensures that they receive the relevant hands-on exposure they need to be successful within their designated department.

With the right attitude, innovative mind-set and curiosity, one can master/conquer the art of the corporate world within a short period of time.
I have gained lots of skills and experience and have learned so much since I have been here, both personally and professionally.
I have grown so much in such a short space of time - I started my career in IT operations, then went to System/Software development and now I’m in Business intelligence in the Management information systems (MIS) area. We help business executives make well-informed decisions by analysing data because “The data never lies”.
