Reyaan is proof that with us… and determination of spirit… you can.
After a terrible motorcycle accident cost Reyaan his left arm, he vowed to get his life back.
Nobody would’ve predicted this.
While losing a limb would be a disaster to most people, Reyaan Traut seems to have made it a factor to his success.
Despite his physical challenges, Reyaan not only lifts weights, climbs up ropes and does box jumps, but he also cycles.
He may have only taken up cycling in 2019 but Reyaan has already won numerous races, awards and accolades.
- 12 gold medals in the Western Cape and SA track, time trial and road championships in only 2 years.
- He has also finished 8th in the Manchester Para Internationals and was the first Disabled athlete to finish sub 3 hours in this year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour.
It’s no wonder Reyaan was the recipient of the 2019 Western Cape Sports Newcomer of the Year Award.
And with all of this, he still finds time to share his inspirational story on TV and radio.
Reyaan embodies the spirit of DirectAxis. That all it takes is to Dream. Believe. Achieve.
It is with great pride that we announce that we have signed him as an official Brand Ambassador for DirectAxis and support him on journey to greatness.
